About the job:

As a Senior Consultant in the Core Banking System division, you will advise banks on challenging projects at the interface between specialist areas and technology, e.g. you will be involved in a holistic solution from start to finish and work hand in hand with Business & IT to create an individual solution to design and implement the same. We are looking for colleagues in our Avaloq team as well as our Temenos team, your competencies will be evaluated based on your experience within one of these

This role is open across Germany. We are looking for suitable profiles nationwide. Thanks to our flexible working models and project-based setup, you can be based anywhere in Germany. Travel requirements depend on client needs and project phases, not on proximity to a specific office location.

Temenos:

• Your focus is on the introduction, replacement, optimization, or expansion of existing systems.
• You can look forward to a diverse, varied range of tasks and take on more and more responsibility on projects.
• In terms of content, you contribute to Synpulse Germany and global Temenos practice.

Avaloq:

• You take over the parameterization (development) of functionality for the core banking system Avaloq.
• You develop functional concepts for banking transformation projects
• You lead your team in Avaloq projects in all project phases (sales, analysis/design, implementation, stabilization)
• You provide support in advising our customers on strategic or operational tasks
• You are in close contact and interact directly with our customers
• You are responsible for requirements gathering, specification, implementation, testing, documentation and training

About you:

• You have a STEM degree.
• Must: You have some years of work experience with Temenos or Avaloq core banking system.
• Avaloq Must: You are or were certified (ACCP).
• You are fluent in English, German is a plus.
• You have at least 3 years working experience within an IT/Finance related sector.
• You are extremely analytical and an effective team player with excellent communication skills.

• Your technical hands-on experience is broad and contains proper Unix and database skills.
• Your previous working experience includes system implementations, replacements, migrations, upgrade or similar.
• You are willing to travel regularly.
