Das Amt der Europäischen Union für geistiges Eigentum (EUIPO) ist die Agentur der Europäischen Union (EU), die für die Verwaltung der Unionsmarken, der eingetragenen Gemeinschaftsgeschmacksmuster (GGM) und der geografischen Angaben (g.A.) für handwerkliche und gewerbliche Erzeugnisse zuständig ist. Darüber hinaus ist das EUIPO verantwortlich für die europäische und internationale Zusammenarbeit im Bereich des geistigen Eigentums sowie die Europäische Beobachtungsstelle für Verletzungen von Rechten des geistigen Eigentums .

Unsere Mitarbeiter kommen aus allen 27 Ländern der Europäischen Union (EU), und wir arbeiten mit Partnern aus der gesamten Weltgemeinschaft zusammen.

Unsere Stammbelegschaft besteht aus mehr als 1.150 Fachkräften, die rechtlich dem Statut der Beamten der Europäischen Union unterliegen. Bei uns gibt es fünf Arbeitssprachen: Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch, Italienisch und Spanisch.

Unsere Räumlichkeiten und ihre Ausstattung entsprechen im Hinblick auf Qualität, Sicherheit und Umweltverträglichkeit höchsten Standards. Das EUIPO befindet sich in Alicante (Spanien) direkt am Meer in einem Campus-Komplex mit landschaftlich gestalteten Flächen und einem Auditorium, das 450 Besucher fasst.
