The KINTO Europe GmbH is a joint venture between Toyota Financial Services Corporation, headquartered in Nagoya, Japan, and Toyota Motor Europe, headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. The company was established in 2018 with the aim of creating a European base for future mobility services by providing full-service leasing and mobility products/services.
KINTO Europe GmbH has offices in various countries in Europe, including Germany, UK, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Your tasks:
- Establishing and implementing standards to ensure comparability of material risks within KINTO Europe and its subsidiaries
- Developing, monitoring, implementing, and maintaining tools for transparent and independent risk control and management in KINTO Europe
- Assist in the preparation of monthly Group risk reports for KINTO Europe management, based on information from subsidiaries
- Regularly review key business-relevant risks through Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA), in collaboration with operational units and departments
- Support the development and improvement of relevant policies such as Score Management, Residual Value Management, and OpRisk
- Assist in the technical and professional implementation of IFRS-9 Impairment and other pan-European projects like the introduction of a remarketing platform
- Support and maintain a Key Risk Indicator (KRI) system for the Full-Service Leasing and Mobility Business, both for KINTO Europe Management and global Risk Management, to adequately assess material risks
- Prepare regular risk results, including rating models, portfolio and asset management, and impairment, for KINTO Europe Management
- Ensure data quality in the information systems related to residual value and credit risks, and coordinate error handling with European IT
Your profile:
- Successfully completed university degree in economics, risk management, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Ideally 3 years of experience in Risk Management and/or the automotive industry
- Proficient in Excel with basic knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools
- Goal-oriented and collegial communication
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present complex issues clearly
- Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and as part of a team
- Quick comprehension and good problem-solving skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English language, German language skills are not required
- Willingness to work in the Cologne office 2-3 days per week
