The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) is the European Union (EU) agency responsible for managing the EU trade marks (EUTMs), the registered Community design (RCDs), the Geographical Indications (GIs) for craft and industrial products and the European and international cooperation in the field of intellectual property (IP), as well as the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights.
Our staff come from all 27 countries of the European Union (EU) and we work with partners from all over the world.
Our core team is made up of close to 1 150 professionals working within the legal framework of the European Union Staff Regulations. We have 5 working languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
Our physical working environment has been designed to comply with the highest standards of quality, security and environmental performance. The EUIPO is located in Alicante (Spain) directly by the sea in a campus-style complex, complete with surrounding landscaped areas and an auditorium with a capacity of 450 people.
