POSITION: Logistics Coordinator

LOCATION: Düsseldorf, Berlin, Bayreuth, Würzburg



MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Within the Transmission Business Unit, as part of the Supply Chain organization, the Logistics Coordinator orchestrates the supply chain to enable a flawless high voltage cable installation. The Logistics Coordinator is executing the logistics coordination activities of a high voltage cable project.


KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a logistics plan for multimodal, intermediate storage and last leg transport.
  • Closely collaborate with (other parts of the) supply chain organization to align and implement work methods and best practices.
  • Collaboration with project management and other key functions.
  • Working and coordinating subcontractors, maintaining the relationship and develop efficient and well planned solutions.
  • Reporting on project progress and subcontractor performance.
  • Managing the interface with the customer regarding specifications of storage, transport, drum and other logistic topics.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Successfully completed studies in Logistics, Supply Chain, transport engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience, preferably in project logistics and/or heavy-, oversized multimodal transportation.
  • Proficient in German and English at C1 level or higher.
  • Good MS Office skills, preferably knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience and understanding of project relevant metrics, e.g., logistic budget, delivery reliability.
  • Project and client-oriented mindset, focusing on aligning project goals with client needs and expectations.
  • Proactive communication and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Team player, stress resistant with strong conflict resolution skills and some sense of humor.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills as well as perseverance and assertiveness.
